2007 SEASON

2006 SEASON

The season proved to be a lot of fun with my first 2 stroke kart (Rotax Max Senior engine with a Arrow chassis). During the season there was only one mishap (at Llandow) which resulted in the rear axle having to be replaced due to being hit from behind and flipped up into the air and ending up bent. The only mechanical problems were the clutch breaking one of the shoes at Little Rissington and the starter motor packing up on the grid at Crail for one of the qualifying heats. I finished the season 3rd in the 'RAF Serving Members' table and 7th overall. Due to financial circumstances, I and the team didn't finish the RAFMSA Endurance Championship however; with the races that the team did enter in were good fun with respectable results. The Prokart has now been sold with the intention of concentrating on RAFMSA Premier Championship in 2007.

2005 SEASON

This season saw me move from racing at Caxton to Red Lodge and also started racing in the RAFMSA Prokart Sprint Championship and Endurance races. Also raced at Milton Keynes in there Arrive & Drive Daytona 100 Endurance races with RAF Halton. Due to the travelling distance and costs, ceased racing at Red Lodge and concentrated on RAFMSA racing and Milton Keynes.  Finished the season 2nd in the RAFMSA Prokart Sprint Championship despite being disqualified at Warden Law due to being deemed as having illegal exhausts, when the exhausts were sent away to be 'legalised' they were found to be OK, big lesson learnt there. Sadly didn't finish in any podium places in the endurance races. Was part of the RAF team for the UK 24 hour Endurance were we finished 18th in our class after many technical mishaps. I was also part of the RAF team that went to Guernsey to compete in a hillclimb (not permitted on mainland UK) and came 1st, but then I was the only one with a Prokart but then I did beat the course record set the previous year. Achieved one 2nd and two 3rd podium finishes at Dayton Milton Keynes but a 1st eluded us.

2004 SEASON

Well, my first season at full time karting at Caxton in the Prokart Sprint races. Only competed in four races and only finished two of them (but didn't come last!) so am still on a big learning curve but had immense fun.
